The First Hebrew Congregation of South Haven Michigan

Walking distance to the beautiful Lake Michigan shoreline, FHC serves Jewish individuals and families from every denomination. Members include year-round and part-time residents of the greater South Haven area, as well as those who visit in the summer months from Chicago, the greater Detroit area, Ohio, Indiana, and beyond.

FHC hosts a summer book club, monthly movie nights, and annual celebrations for Purim, Passover and Hanukkah. Throughout the summer, the community gathers for music, prayer, and study on Friday nights and Orthodox services are held on Saturday mornings. Egalitarian high holiday services are held each fall. The building is available for life cycle events and weekend retreats.
